Downtown San Diego’s bay front has so much planned for it’s future and it is a really exciting time. There is an estimated $7+ billion in projects going up along the bay from Downtown to Harbor Island. The map below shows some of the larger plans along 92101’s harbor. Over the next 5 years, our bay will be completely transformed and we can maybe even go as far as to say unrecognizable. From beautiful architecture to fine dining to public space, the changes are much anticipated. I am really excited to be part of a community that has such a bright future!

What I like about it:
Many people want a downtown atmosphere, but also want to be by the beach. This project makes both possible. I am super excited for the possibility of having a beach in downtown San Diego because then the city really would have everything people look for in Southern California. We would have the weather, walk-ability, convenience, dining, shopping and then the beach all within a mile. Marina and Columbia District would obviously benefit the most from this awesome addition! What more could you ask for?

What I like about it:
The eight blocks that will make up the project are currently a few Navy office buildings and huge parking lots closed to the public. They are both an eyesore! The land is arguably the best site on the West Coast that isn’t currently being utilized. Pacific Gateway is the last missing link between Downtown and the San Diego Bay! This estimated $1.3 billion project will bring so much to the area.

What I like about it:
Pacific Gate will join the ranks of international “Super Prime” real estate, but what does that even mean? In short, it is a combination of several important factors, all equally important as the next. The class of “Super Prime” is only used to describe iconic architecture located in the most prestigious neighborhoods built to the highest level of quality and offering the most superior services only seen in 5 star hotels. It is the perfect combination of culture, lifestyle and beauty. When you compare Pacific Gate to anything else we have seen in downtown San Diego, you will see it isn’t just one step above the rest. It is leaps and bounds.

What I like about it:
This project is part of the North Embarcadero plan and brings some retail and dining to an area that is currently lacking both. With 3 residential towers directly across the street and a 4th on the way, making these few blocks more convenient is a definite positive. I appreciate that they added Lane Field Park on the west side of the hotel, which ties in well with the Embarcadero and it’s history.

What I like about it:
The design is awesome and I feel like it is going to be an icon along our bay. Although it is a small addition when compared to the other projects in this list, it adds dining that locals can stand behind as well. Anthony’s was around for 70 years, but it was time for a replacement. The 3 restaurants and coffee/gelato offer something for everyone.

What I like about it:
Savina’s modern interiors paired with fantastic amenities check all of the boxes and come at a price that is similar to resale in downtown. I have picked out several floor plans that I personally think are fantastic deals throughout the building. Savina has over 90 floor plans so it is important to work with a professional to navigate through all of the options.
