February 2020 House Market – Downtown San Diego Condo Market
There is a lot going on in the Downtown San Diego housing market right now. First off, for January, there were a good amount of sales (+35.7% compared to 2019). Next, we saw the number of active listings dip down to the lowest amount in 14 months. Lastly, the number of homes to go under contract shot up to 80 homes. That is the most we have seen since March of 2019. It seems like the market is heating up faster then it typically would to start off the year.
Inventory is down to a 4.5 month supply, which is a 12 month low. With the number of homes going pending on the rise, I suspect we will have a strong number of closings for February.
