The Hopper Bus has a few different options to choose from. First one is ‘Hopper’ which is $49 and you enjoy exploring the city with the transportation-only experience to all the destinations. ‘Hopper Plus’ is $99 which includes tickets to the most popular attractions around the area. These destinations include USS Midway Museum, Hornblower 1-Hour Harbor Cruise, Flagship Coronado Ferry, and Maritime Museum.
History about each destination:
Old Town: is the birth place of California and had a bunch of historic buildings which includes restaurants, museums, and shops.
Embarcadero: located right on the water and is home to the USS Midway and the Hornblower which takes you out on the bay to see the sunset and holds special dinner and beer dinner events. The flagship speed boat is an awesome thrill ride on the bay which I would recommend.
Seaport Village: located on the water and features a bunch of clothing shops, restaurants, and art work. The views of the bay are beautiful.
Gaslamp: boasts restaurants all up and down 5th avenue as well as surrounding streets. barleymash is a great sports bar which I recommend everyone go and check out. There is a lot of history in the Gaslamp as you can see as you walk around downtown.
Balboa Park: home to the great San Diego Zoo, over 15 museums and beautiful gardens.
Little Italy: features some of the best restaurants in San Diego. Some of the notable restaurants include; Kettner Exchange, Juniper and Ivy, Crack Shack, Iron Side, Born & Raised, and Cloak & Petal.
