Juuly 2016 Market Update – Downtown San Diego Condo Market

Downtown San Diego reached a total of 101 sales in the month of June, which is the highest it has been since June of 2015.  The average price per square foot also reached a high of $546. The last time we met or exceeded $546 per square foot was in May of 2007 ($550/sf).  We remain right around a 3 months’ supply of inventory meaning it is a market that favors sellers. Condos are selling quickly for some of the highest prices we have seen since before the crash! The average days on market is 37 days, but the key is to get as much interest as possible and sell within the first 2 weeks.
