Festival of Sail is a Tall Ship festival that transforms the North Embarcadero into a martime theme park. The street fair is free and open to anyone, and the parade is visible from Shelter Island, Harbor Island, and Embarcadero. An admission ticket allows you to:

Little Italy Labor Day Stickball Tournament

Revisit childhood memories and join Little Italy’s neighborhood on their 19th Annual Stickball Tournament! 8 to 12 teams will be completing for the Jillie Trophy as the crowds scream and shout.

San Diego Bacon Fest

Featured Museums

The mission of the Japanese Friendship Garden is to engage people of all backgrounds in the beauty few Japanese culture. “The Garden” is an expression of friendship between San Diego and its sister city, Yokohama. There are plenty of programs available for those who wish to immerse themselves in Japanese culture.

This museum has numerous exhibits including Living With Animals, Cannibals: Myth & Reality, BEERology, and Ancient Egypt. Because of the extended hours, you can also tour the California Tower at sunset!

The Fleet seeks to connect people from all ages to the wonders of science! The center is filled with interactive exhibits and an IMAX film adventure on San Diego’s only dome screen. Also, Game Masters: The Exhibition is now opoen and allows you to play over 100 games on the Giant Dome screen.
