Why should you go?

A weekend visit to Little Italy is always great, but this isn’t just any weekend. The entire neighborhood transforms around this event and the energy is unbeatable. With 4 different stages, live music and laughter can be heard at every corner. My favorite part about Little Italy is that it seems like everyone you meet is in a good mood. The ArtWalk amplifies that feeling!

The ArtWalk also offers a chance to meet local artists and possibly find that special new piece you have been looking for. When you are able to talk to the creator of a piece, it allows you to connect with the art on a different level. It will heighten your appreciation for their work.

As far as parking goes, I would avoid driving as much as possible. During an average weekend in Little Italy, it is already difficult to find parking. There will be thousands of people in town for this art festival. I recommend taking public transportation. There is also a courtesy shuttle option as well. According to the official Mission Federal ArtWalk website, if you park in the San Diego Airport’s new “Economy Lot”, Old Town Trolley is sponsoring a free shuttle from this location.

This will truly be a fantastic event and I hope to see you there!
