Makers Quarter has been an exciting idea for some time, but it seems it is finally one step closer to becoming a reality. With so great projects on the horizons, this neighborhood will look completely different over the next 5 years. It is expected to be an great professional hub that caters to jobs in tech and creative industries.
Monday, April 11th 2016, was the first of several groundbreaking ceremonies expected to take place over the next few months at Makers Quarter. The event on Monday was to celebrate the beginning of construction at the site for Broadstone Makers Quarter. The building is expected to contain 269 apartment units and approximately 20,000 square feet of retail space. Broadstone is located at the corner of 16th and Broadway, and is expected to be completed sometime in 2017.
You may recognize the Broadstone name from their apartment projects in Little Italy and Bankers Hill. Their buildings feature nice amenities and modern finishes, but also come at steep rental rates. Information on approximate rental rates or amenities included in the Broadstone Makers Quarter location have not been released yet.
