April 2016 Market Update – Downtown San Diego Condo Market

March was a great month in 92101! We saw a huge improvement in the number of sales and new listings! There are currently 102 properties in escrow in 92101, which means that April is also set to be a great month! Downtown is still extremely short on inventory, with the supply continuing to hover right around 2.7 months. In general, it still remains a seller’s market. Different price ranges vary in the amount of leverage a seller has. In the luxury market, we are seeing more of a balance, while under $1,500,000 it favors sellers. As a seller, you want to make sure that your property gets the most exposure possible even in a market favoring sellers.
