Renaissance #1009 – So Many Exciting Changes on the Horizon

Renaissance is located in Downtown San Diego’s Marina District. It is a really exciting time for the neighborhood, and more specifically, Renaissance’s location. There is a major development going in where Horton Plaza was. The plans for The Campus at Horton include approximately 700,000 sq ft of tech office space and about 300,000 sq ft of retail.  Just north of Renaissance sits the Paladion, which just went through an extensive remodel and is also expected to be used as tech office space. Lastly, just several blocks away from Renaissance, IQHQ’s RaDD project is underway. This transformative project is made up of 5 buildings occupying 6 blocks and is expected to consist of approximately 1,700,000 sq ft of lab, office, and retail space. All of these projects are geared towards bringing high paying jobs to the area.

In addition to the exciting changes, this location is incredibly convenient. Ralph’s, which is Downtown San Diego’s largest grocery store, is located just across the street. There are also so many restaurant options within walking distance. It is a very short walk to both Gaslamp Quarters and Little Italy.

About this Residence

This floorplan is really well laid out. There are two very large bedrooms, each with their own bathroom and great closet space. They are also on opposite ends of the residence, which is great for privacy. In addition to the two en-suite bathrooms, there is a powder room for guests off of the entry hallway. The living room has a nice open flow and there are panoramic city views. The balcony allows you to take in the views of the city and is perfect for entertaining guests or having a cup of coffee in the morning sun.

One of my favorite features of this plan are the telescopic, or lanai, windows in the dining area. The windows on the northeast corner of the residence slide open, creating a nice indoor/outdoor feel. This layout is great for day to day life, as well as entertaining friends and family!
