A European-Style Beer Hall called Nolita Hall is set to open May 1st on India Street in Little Italy. Space is a prime location which will cost $3+ million dollars to remodel the 6,000sqft venue. Founder Douglas Hamm purchased the property and will include 13-foot floor-to-ceiling windows and a 10 by 60-foot skylight. All the windows in the front of the restaurant open up to get that amazing indoor-outdoor feel.

Nolita Hall Highlights
- 24 beers on tap
- Specialty cocktails
- Indoor-outdoor dining experience
- Woodfire pizza
- Massive lounge area
The European-Style Beer Hall will be a full-service restaurant which will focus on the drinks but will also feature wood-fired pizza and many other dishes by Chef Nathan Coulon. Nathon’s family owns multiple restaurants in the area such Belgian Lion, Dessertier, and Little Lion Café. Nathon himself was executive chef of Andaz San Diego and True Foods kitchen so we can expect something great from him. Douglas Hamm and his investment company are currently known for owning other restaurants such as Lofty Coffee and Half Door Brewing.
Not only will the restaurant feature 24 taps, it will also have a great cocktail menu by Brian Prugalidad. He has created some amazing cocktails around the area for years. A few of the most notable cocktail spots include Lion’s Share, Campfire, Polite Provisions, Seven Grand and Banker’s Hill Bar+Restaurant. The location and concept of the idea will be a great addition to what Little Italy food and drink scene already has to offer. They do have some competition right down the street where the well-known Ballast Point Brewery is located but a very different concept. I am very excited to check it out once it opens!
