November 2019 Market Update – Downtown San Diego Condo Market

As expected, the average sales price dropped down to normal levels after the spike in September. Market time has continued to climb and would be even higher if we took into account property that expired and relisted. Inventory has remained consistent, which is interesting because typically staring in October, we see a decrease in the number of homes on the market. There was a very minor decrease last month. I am expecting we will see a decrease in both November and December as well.

Only 50 homes sold last month, which is a 19.3% decrease when compared to October of 2018. The slowest time frame over the last year was November 2018 – February 2019. I am hoping we do not see a slow down as drastic as the year prior.
