October 2017 Market Update – Downtown San Diego Condo Market
Inventory has been steadily growing, which is great for buyers. It is still a seller’s market, but there are now more options for buyers to choose from. As we go into the 4th quarter of the year, the number of listings tends to fall drastically, especially in November and December. Homes that were on the market going into quarter 4 are sometimes withdrawn and relisted after the holidays. We already saw a drop in the number of sales in September, as well as a decrease in the number of properties to go into escrow during the month.
