Located on 5th and J in the heart of Gaslamp, you will find two distinct new restaurants by the RMD Group. The restaurants will be located in the historic Grand Pacific Hotel and are expected to open mid-spring. Lumi, one of the restaurants that will be located on the rooftop is expected to have great views of the Gaslamp. From professional snowboarder to Michelin-Starred chef, Akira Back will be taking the reins in the kitchen. He plans to create Japanese inspired fare and sushi with an upscale rooftop atmosphere. In addition, Lumi will have a variety of hand crafted cocktails to choose from. Chef Akira Back wants to create a fun atmosphere to hang out with friends and family all while eating amazing food and drinking delicious cocktails.

Huntress Steak & Whiskey

Also located in the historic Grand Pacific Hotel, Huntress will feature 7,000 square-feet of dinning. A mezzanine will overlook the beautiful first floor dining room. There you will find some of the finest cuts of meat and Japanese whiskey. Executive Chef James Montejano will be running the kitchen, he currently assists with all of RMD groups restaurants. The Steakhouse will feature over 60 bottles of rare Japanese whiskey and plans on doing tastings as well as wine and whiskey paired events.
